I came across this video on YouTube and I thought it was very interesting. Since the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School, more than half a million cards, letters, poems and drawings have been sent to the people of Newtown from around the world. I was wondering what would happen to all of these things and here is one idea...
Wow Kate, thanks for sharing this. I never really thought about what they would do with all of the cards, pictures, stuffed animals, etc. that come into the town from around the world. I like the idea of making a memorial with bricks, but I think that they should make the documents all digital too. It is, unfortunately, a part of history now and should be preserved somehow. Very powerful...
